depends how much of a giddy teenager you became after reading the first |
keil you know me and my romance status....how bad do you think it was???
Lebrulz its okay I think its a guy thing....all the males I know up until now that have actually read twilight either gag when its mentioned or launch into a highly monotonous and pointless speech trying to convince me that its a waste of literature....you'd think they'd have figured out by now that they shouldn't bother!
anyways keila I downloaded the other 3 and I'm planning to start new moon later today...if I feel the same as you after I'm done I'm going to go back and read twilight until its permanently imprinted in my mind to undo the damage. Wish me luck! |

KEIL!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG YOU WERE RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!
I shouldn't have read the books but not for the same reasons you had...let me break it down for you:
I have no objection to Edward Cullen whatsoever, see the thing about romances is that at the start the guy has to be all charismatic and surrounded by this aura that draws the girl in..then when its all out in the open and the cats out of the bag well thats when it gets mushy. and then depending on the level of corny stuff and whether or not you can keep your last meal down a good romance novel is judged.
so him I still love. him is amazing. him is perfect.
HER ON THE OTHER HAND I WOULD JOYFULLY STRANGLE!!!!
1) you object to marrying edward cullen???? seriously a chickpea would have more sense!
2) she's an annoying selfish little brat who I tolerated without pulling my hair out until
3) she pulled that stunt with Jacob! that just did it for me....because aslan I didn't like jacob (sorry) and for her to "fall in love" with him and still want edward...thats just low!
I'm not even going to bother with the fourth one...especially after I found that its in parts and Jacob apparently is important enough to have, not one but TWO parts! that would be purely suicidal!
*hmph* |

la2 la2 la2 now that you've started keep reading. The jacob thing is going to CRACK YOU UP. I seriously stared at the page, and re-read the whole paragraph cause I couldn't believe it. Then I turned the page again to the cover booklet with the author picture and I flicked it with my finger repeatedly for making me read through that poo-poo! It's so barbarically idiotic that you HAVE to read it. At least to laugh at yourself for having read it I honestly didnt expect that outcome which pissed me off even more
omg I couldn't handle Edward's mushiness! I'm a romantic but not a sappy romantic. I found Edward's mysteriousness and coldness from Book one romantic so lovey dovey edward from book 2 made me gag |

welcome to my life
oooh Keil I don't know....I mean I really really really can't stand Jacob...okay so I admit I have no resistance whatsoever and I DID start reading the 4th one except I skipped to the Bella parts since I figured edward would be in them....and then faj2a I'm reading about Bella being a vampire, having a baby and yekh of yekhiness Jacob imprinting on that baby and I gave up....but I'll give it another shot
do you know up until now I haven't read Wuthering heights? Its been on my to read list forever I should probably get around to it...then we can talk real romance! |

Haven't seen True Blood yet, don't have Showtime (or is it HBO?), bass people at work are talking about it constantly...
On the other hand, you guys HAVE to read The Hunger Games! It's an awesome book and has a hint of romance for you Keil and BGirl.
Also the sequel is coming out in a week so you can read that too! The sequel is called Catching Fire i think? |

I know its disgusting like "khalas you can't have the mom go after the offspring".....I honestly felt like by that time stephanie whats-her-face just ran out of things....useful things....to put in the book and was putting whatever garbage came into her head.
its sad!
